Baseball Recap: Scranton Takes a Loss

Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Cumberland Valley Eagles. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scranton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for Cumberland Valley, they will be playing at home against Central York at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
