Columbus took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They took down Sports Leadership & Management 79-60. Winning may never get old, but the Explorers sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Sports Leadership & Management saw an underclassman step up: freshman Josiah Brooks went 9-for-17 to rack up 31 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Dario Haro was another key player, putting up eight points.

Looking ahead, Columbus will square off against Dynamic Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will be taking part in a tournament against Prolific Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sports Leadership & Management will need to watch out since the Crew have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
