Basketball Recap: Holston Comes Up Short

If Holston was riding high fresh off their 73-30 takedown of Honaker last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Holston Cavaliers were beaten by the Chilhowie Warriors 58-29 on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Holston's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Chilhowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Holston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chilhowie, they are taking a road trip to take on Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Patrick Henry will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Chilhowie surely won't give up without a fight.
