Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads Stanwood over Arlington + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Stanwood and Arlington meet (six straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Spartans walked away with a 35-28 victory over the Eagles. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 33-7 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Eben Bland Jr went supernova, rushing for 128 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Those 128 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Bland Jr was just one part of a punishing run game: Stanwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 238 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
