The Green Wave will head out on the road to challenge the Sabres at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, St. Edward came up short against Montini Catholic and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Green Wave in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Streamwood also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Elk Grove by a score of 2-0.

St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Streamwood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-22.

St. Edward beat Streamwood 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Green Wave since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
