Softball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside couldn't beat West Scranton on Wednesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the seventh inning. The Vikings took a 16-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Invaders. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Invaders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for West Scranton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-13.

As of now, neither Riverside nor the Invaders have any future games scheduled.
