Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They came up short against the Tecumseh Braves, falling 74-52. One positive for the Chargers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Pike Central lost, don't look at Jiles Mason. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-13 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Frederick, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.

Pike Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Tecumseh, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Pike Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-57 loss against Tell City on the 14th. As for Tecumseh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-53 defeat against Gibson Southern on the 14th.
