The Union Grove Christian Patriots will head out to challenge the Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Union Grove Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.

Union Grove Christian is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Forsyth Home Educators just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 4-3.

Union Grove Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Hege, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Triad Baptist Christian Academy got the win against Calvary Christian back in March by a conclusive 18-4. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won three contests by 14 runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Triad Baptist Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Union Grove Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Everything went Union Grove Christian's way against Triad Baptist Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March, as Union Grove Christian made off with a 12-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
