Maple Hill is a perfect 10-0 against Catskill since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Cats at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Maple Hill and four for Catskill.

Last Friday, Maple Hill didn't have quite enough to beat Coxsackie-Athens and fell 8-7.

Maple Hill saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Camadine, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Halle Feldman was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Catskill lost 9-1 to Taconic Hills on Monday. The match marked the Cats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Maple Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Catskill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Maple Hill's way against Catskill in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Maple Hill made off with a 17-5 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
