Temecula Valley extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Hyacinth Peregrino. The Golden Bears put the hurt on the Etiwanda Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Peregrino, who had 15 digs and two aces. Peregrino is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Temecula Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Etiwanda between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.

Temecula Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Etiwanda, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temecula Valley will challenge Hemet at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Etiwanda, they will face off against Beaumont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
