Basketball Recap: Vineland Comes Up Short

Vineland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 63-42 to the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Clan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Crusaders are ranked 19th).

Vineland's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Wildwood Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Vineland will face off against Howell on Thursday. Wildwood Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
