West Delaware won the last time they faced Independence and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

West Delaware's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Independence, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Independence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Western Dubuque on the 20th. Hopefully West Delaware paid attention to the Mustangs' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
