Everything went their way against the Spring Hill Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 17-1 win. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Yeidy Cruz was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bailey Hale was a standout: she fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Arnold, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles.
Coffee County Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
