Decker Kleppin gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Monday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Kleppin's strong effort led Random Lake over Howards Grove and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rams are 7-2 against the Tigers going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
