Football Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Palmer had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-6 to make it five. They were beaten by the Pueblo South Colts 49-6. The Terrors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.

As for Pueblo South, their win bumped their record up to 4-2. That looming 49-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Pueblo South had a senior duo take command as Chace Hurley rushed for 76 yards and two TDs on only eight carries and Caeden Herrera threw for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight passes. Hurley didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made five total tackles.

Palmer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 62-0 defeat against Lewis-Palmer on the 17th. As for Pueblo South, they have also already played their next matchup, a 44-0 victory against Pueblo Centennial on the 16th.
