Football Game Preview: East Union Lancers vs. Mountain House Mustangs + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Kirk Simoni and Erin Foster are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The East Union Lancers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Mountain House Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

East Union is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Manteca last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Lancers had to suffer through a 56-20 loss at the hands of the Buffaloes. The contest marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, East Union got top-tier performance from Jackson Fay, who rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.

Meanwhile, Mountain House took a blow against Central Catholic on Friday, falling 56-7. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-0.

Mountain House's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for East Union, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
