Softball Recap: Vinemont Comes Up Short

Vinemont came into this matchup off a tough seven-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Fairview Aggies by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Vinemont's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Fairview, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-11.

Vinemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairview, they will square off against Arab at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
