Southeast Whitfield County extends home losing streak to four

Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Raiders vs. Ridgeland Panthers
The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Ridgeland 84-43. Southeast Whitfield County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ridgeland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
It was another big night for John Hill, who scored 29 points along with nine rebounds for Ridgeland. That's the first time this season that Hill pulled down eight or more rebounds. Eron Graham was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.
Southeast Whitfield County bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Ridgeland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Southeast Whitfield County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Fannin County at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th. Ridgeland's road trip will continue as they head out to face North Sand Mountain at 2:30 p.m. on December 20th.
