Basketball Recap: Timber Creek Regional Comes Up Short

Timber Creek Regional saw some tournament action on Sunday. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shipley.

Shipley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Naegle led the charge by going 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Naegle a new career-high in rebounds. Henry Rassmussen was another key player, going 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Timber Creek Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shipley, they moved to 1-10 with that win, which also ended their 13-game losing streak.
