Basketball Recap: Oliver Ames Takes a Loss

Oliver Ames lost against Walpole back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oliver Ames Tigers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 60-59 to the Walpole Timberwolves.

Oliver Ames' loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Walpole, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Oliver Ames will be playing in front of their home fans against Foxborough at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Walpole, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-36 victory against Bishop Fenwick on the 28th.
