Soccer Game Preview: Bishop's vs. Pacific Ridge

The Bishop's Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Pacific Ridge Firebirds at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Bishop's came up short against Escondido Charter and fell 4-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pacific Ridge entered their tilt with Orange Glen on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They never let the Patriots onto the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Pacific Ridge hit Orange Glen with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Audel Mobasher (2), Max Pulvers, and Luca Tuvo.

Pacific Ridge's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Bishop's, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1.

Bishop's suffered a grim 5-1 defeat to Pacific Ridge in their previous meeting back in January. Can Bishop's avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
