Whitney Young smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
Whitney Young pushed their record up to 25-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points over those games. As for Kenwood, their win bumped their record up to 31-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kenwood has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Whitney Young struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
