Boone Central entered their tilt with Centura on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 24-20 W against the Centurions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boone Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kade Hudson, who threw for 212 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in one TD on the ground. 114 of Hudson's passing yards were hauled in by Walker Robertson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Boone Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kaden Miller, Jacob Miller, and Max Grosch picked up one apiece.
Boone Central's record is now 4-2. As for Centura, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
