Basketball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Baraga

Baraga won the last time they faced Stephenson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Baraga Vikings came out on top against the Stephenson Eagles by a score of 53-44.

Baraga pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Stephenson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Baraga and Houghton will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Stephenson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rapid River at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
