Flag Football Game Preview: Arroyo Dons vs. James Logan Colts + How To Watch

The Arroyo Dons will head out on the road to square off against the James Logan Colts at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arroyo hasn't scored more than seven points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Saturday, Arroyo was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 6-2 to Dublin.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led James Logan over Tennyson in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Colts blew past the Lancers 39-13. The result was nothing new for the Colts, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

James Logan found their leader in freshman Ella Vega, who threw for 322 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.4% of her passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a pair of scores. Those 322 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Vega.

James Logan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mauriah Mchenry.

The win made it two in a row for James Logan and bumps their season record up to 11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.5 points over those games. As for Arroyo, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Arroyo came up short against James Logan when the teams last played back in August, falling 13-6. Can the Dons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
