Football Recap: Xavier Agosto Leads Kennedy's Defense on Thursday + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Family, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 27-20 win over the Littleton Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Commanders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Marcelis Allen looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 263 yards and two TDs, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Kennedy's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Xavier Agosto. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 13. Kennedy got some further help from Xavier Benavidez: he forced one fumble and made 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Kennedy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.7 points on average over those games. As for Littleton, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 2-6.
