Softball Recap: Scott City Comes Up Short

Scott City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the South Pemiscot Bulldogs.

Skylar Watson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ava Huckstep, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Scott City's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for South Pemiscot, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Coming up, Scott City will head out to face off against Valle Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Pemiscot, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarkton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
