Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Mustangs vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays

Having just played yesterday, the Concordia Mustangs will jump right back in to play the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Concordia sitting on six straight wins and Ashland-Greenwood on ten.

Concordia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Doniphan-Trumbull by a score of 54-45.

Meanwhile, Ashland-Greenwood faced Lincoln Lutheran in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Ashland-Greenwood walked away with a 54-47 victory over Lincoln Lutheran.

Ashland-Greenwood's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Concordia, their victory bumped their record up to 23-4.

Concordia strolled past Ashland-Greenwood in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a score of 59-44. Will Concordia repeat their success, or does Ashland-Greenwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
