Marshall won the last time they faced Hastings and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redhawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Saxons.

Brookelyn Stealy paced Marshall's offense, picking up five kills. Stealy were helped by Addie Carden and Anna Laditka, who contributed five assists each. Stealy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 29-9-5. As for Hastings, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-23-1.

Coming up, Marshall will welcome Edwardsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eddies will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Redhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hastings, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Northwest on the 25th.
