St. Anselm's Abbey scored the most  points they've had  this season on Sunday, but it wasn't enough. They received a  blow  as they fell  84-68 to the Avalon Black Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game  last Saturday (65), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Another player making a difference was  Toran Ayana, who  dropped  a double-double with 14  points and 11  boards.
St. Anselm's Abbey's defeat dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Avalon, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record  this season.
