Basketball Game Preview: South Hadley Tigers vs. Bethlehem Central Eagles

After both having extra time off, the South Hadley Tigers and the Bethlehem Central Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

South Hadley is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Monument Mountain just ended the team's four-game winning streak last Monday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 47-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since February 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Central had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Catholic Central with points to spare last Saturday, taking the game 50-35.

South Hadley's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Bethlehem Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
