Volleyball Recap: Council Grove Comes Up Short

Council Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wichita HomeSchool Warriors. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Krissi Reichenberger was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and two assists.

Council Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Wichita HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 21-4-1.

Looking ahead, Council Grove will face off against Cair Paravel at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wichita HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart on the 27th.
