If Fairhaven wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Somerset Berkley Regional, they should've done a better job of containing Makenzie Pires. The Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders came out on top against the Fairhaven Blue Devils by a score of 42-32 on Friday thanks in part to Pires, who posted 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Another player making a difference was Sarah Costa, who put up four points and ten boards. Somerset Berkley Regional is 3-1 when Costa posts ten or more rebounds, but 5-8 otherwise.
