Baseball Recap: Pocono Mountain West Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Pocono Mountain West's offense. They came up short against the Pocono Mountain East Cardinals on Monday, falling 7-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Pocono Mountain West's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Pocono Mountain East, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Pocono Mountain West will face off against East Stroudsburg North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. Pocono Mountain East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
