Volleyball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Glades Central Raiders

For the first time this season, Pahokee will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Glades Central Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pahokee is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Pahokee didn't have quite enough to beat Lake Worth and fell 3-2.

Pahokee wouldn't go down easily and took Lake Worth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking 15-point loss. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 0-25, 15-0.

Meanwhile, Glades Central didn't have quite enough to beat Clewiston on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Glades Central sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-19.

Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Glades Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Pahokee couldn't quite get it done against Glades Central in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
