Football Recap: Kenwood Piles Up the Points Against Clark

Kenwood won the last time they faced Clark and things went their way on Saturday too. The Broncos blew past the Eagles 44-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Kenwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenyonte Louis out in front who threw for 218 yards and five touchdowns on only 11 passes. A healthy portion of Louis' aerial production (120 yards to be exact) went to Drake Harris, who also brought in three receiving touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Kenwood's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Arsenio Davis refused to say out of the backfield, picking up a sack all by himself.

Kenwood now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kenwood will challenge rival Amundsen at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Clark is set to take on their familiar foe King at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
