Volleyball Game Preview: Calvary Christian Academy Knights vs. Decatur Christian Warriors

The Calvary Christian Academy Knights will face off against the Decatur Christian Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Calvary Christian Academy came up short against DeLand-Weldon and fell 2-0. The Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While Calvary Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they really made DeLand-Weldon work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Decatur Christian also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Judah Christian by a score of 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-11.

Decatur Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.

Calvary Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Decatur Christian in their previous meeting back in September of 2021 as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
