Soccer Recap: Franklin Central Comes Up Short

Franklin Central was the 2-0 winner over Roncalli when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Flashes fell just short of the Royals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Franklin Central have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Aidan Walker, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin Central and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Roncalli, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Franklin Central will face off against Lawrence North at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Roncalli, they will welcome Southport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
