Soccer Game Preview: Miller vs. Corpus Christi Moody

Miller and Corpus Christi Moody are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2017, but likely not for long. The Miller Buccaneers will take on the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Miller's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Miller took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They never let King onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Buccaneers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Moody managed to keep up with King until halftime two weeks ago, but things quickly went downhill from there. Corpus Christi Moody came up short against King, falling 5-2.

Corpus Christi Moody dropped their record down to 1-4-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Miller, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
