Basketball Recap: Kentucky Christian Comes Up Short

Kentucky Christian suffered their biggest loss since November 27, 2023 on Saturday. They were dealt a 64-32 defeat at the hands of the Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-42 back in November of 2024.

Cumberland Christian Home Educators was led to victory by Joshua Sloan and Aiden Drew. Sloan dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards, while Drew dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Drew has posted since back in November of 2024. Noah Hughes was another key player, putting up seven points and eight boards.

Kentucky Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Kentucky Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on Cumberland Christian Home Educators on January 28th.
