Basketball Recap: Northern Guilford Takes a Loss

Northern Guilford fought the good fight in their overtime match against Southwest Guilford on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys 80-76. The Nighthawks were up 40-24 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Northern Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Southwest Guilford, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.

As of now, neither Northern Guilford nor Southwest Guilford have any future games scheduled.
