Baseball Recap: Jim Thorpe Comes Up Short

Jim Thorpe came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lehighton Indians, falling 12-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Olympians were not able to get on the board.

Jim Thorpe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lehighton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jim Thorpe will welcome Northern Lehigh at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lehighton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tamaqua at 4:15 p.m.
