Basketball Recap: Gloversville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Gloversville and Cohoes squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Gloversville had to settle for second. They took an 80-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cohoes Tigers. The Huskies/Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 71-39.

Gloversville has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. Cohoes' win bumped their record up to 6-15.

Gloversville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Hudson Falls will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Cohoes surely won't give up without a fight.
