Basketball Recap: Putnam Takes a Loss

Putnam lost against Tourtellotte Memorial back in January of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Putnam Clippers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 29-28 to the Tourtellotte Memorial Tigers.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tourtellotte Memorial, they moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Putnam has already played their next match, a 52-22 defeat against Parish Hill on the 15th. As for Tourtellotte Memorial, they will challenge Lyman Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
