Basketball Game Preview: Leeds Greenwave vs. Moody Blue Devils

The Leeds Greenwave will take on the Moody Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Leeds will be strutting in after a win while Moody will be coming in after a defeat.

Leeds will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Carver Birmingham, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Leeds managed a 43-37 victory over Carver Birmingham on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenwave.

Meanwhile, Moody was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 54-53 to Ramsay.

Moody's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Leeds, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Leeds took a serious blow against Moody in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 75-23. Can Leeds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
