Baseball Game Preview: West Bend East Suns vs. Grafton Black Hawks

The West Bend East Suns are taking a road trip to square off against the Grafton Black Hawks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. West Bend East is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

West Bend East came up short against Nicolet on Friday, falling 8-2.

Hunter Herbst was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Grafton beat West Bend West 4-1 on Wednesday. The Black Hawks haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Zachary Plier was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for West Bend East, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.

West Bend East took their win against Grafton in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Suns since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
