After a string of six wins, Boston Latin's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bedford Buccaneers by a score of 5-4. If the Wolfpack were looking for revenge after losing 6-5 to the Buccaneers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Boston Latin's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bedford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boston Latin will challenge Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bedford, they will square off against Concord-Carlisle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
