Passers beware: Gio Joaquin came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made eight total tackles, helping propel Bishop O'Dowd past Mt. Diablo by a score of 24-0. We hope Joaquin's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Joaquin and Bishop O'Dowd will head out on the road to square off against St. Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will enter the matchup having just beaten Sonoma Valley, so the Dragons will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
