While Merrol Hyde Magnet didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They breezed by Red Boiling Springs to the tune of 70-30 last Monday. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 25 points or more this season.

Moore County better keep an eye on Harrison Gill. He was instrumental in Merrol Hyde Magnet's win, going 8 for 11 on his way to 18 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Mullins, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Merrol Hyde Magnet and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Moore County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
