Baseball Recap: Escambia Academy Takes a Loss

Escambia Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Snook Christian Academy Eagles, falling 16-3. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-8.

Escambia Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Radcliff, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Escambia Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Snook Christian Academy, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Escambia Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against Sparta Academy on the 17th. As for Snook Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 win against Atmore Christian on the 13th.
